Marissa Fieland
Marissa Fieland, soprano, attended the New England Conservatory of Music on scholarship, where she received her Bachelor of Music in 2021. Marissa placed 2nd in the International Art of Artsong Competition in 2019, was awarded the Andy Anselmo Scholarship in 2017, is a 1st place winner of the NATS Classical Competition for several years in a row, and performed at Carnegie Hall as a finalist in the High School Honor's Performance Series 2019.
Marissa has experience in many styles including bel canto, Musical Theater, and pop . She’s taught a huge range of musical students, including voice students, piano, and percussion. In her performance career, operatic roles include: Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte, Countessa in Le nozze di Figaro, Alice in Falstaff, Clorinda in La Cenerentola, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Mimi in La bohème and Antonia in Les contes d'Hoffmann.
She is a passionate teacher who assists her students through their musical blocks to allow them to become expressive, more confident musicians.
