Faith Carroll brings a multidimensional artistry to her work as a performer, songwriter, and educator. A multi-instrumentalist and soprano from Salem, NH, she has cultivated a creative voice that bridges classical training with a deep passion for contemporary music. Beginning her musical journey in fourth grade, she quickly found a home in voice and piano studies. From there, her curiosity and drive led her to expand her musicianship independently, teaching herself both guitar and bass.

Faith is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Professional Music—Berklee’s individualized “build-your-own” program—with concentrations in Songwriting, Vocal Performance, and Creative Entrepreneurship. Completing her degree in just 3.5 years, she developed a distinct artistic identity within the indie-alternative/folk scene. Her songwriting, described by some as “a Taylor Swift with suburban charm,” centers women’s empowerment, mental health, and LGBTQIA+ narratives. Beyond her solo work, she also lends her talents as bassist and background vocalist for Gretchen & The Banshees, a tribute to Siouxsie and the Banshees.

For Faith, the arts are a form of connection and self-discovery. She views education—especially music education—as one of our strongest tools for understanding ourselves and the world around us. As an educator since 2016, she has taught students of all ages across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, guiding them in voice, piano, musical theatre, and a wide range of contemporary genres. Her pedagogy centers authenticity, creativity, and exploration. She encourages students to see both new and classic music as equally rich sources of learning, weaving music theory into current songs to spark curiosity and deepen musical intuition.

Outside her musical life, Faith finds joy in crafting—crocheting, knitting, and jewelry making—creative practices that mirror the same artistry, patience, and personal expression she brings to her teaching and performing.
