Devyn Kerr

Devyn Kerr is completing her Masters of Music in Vocal Studies at the prestigions Longy School of Music of Bard College. She spent her undergraduate at Franklin College of Franklin, Indiana, where she received academic scholarship and performance scholarships.

Devyn is an accomplished solo and ensemble singer. She received both second place for classical and third place for musical theater at the National Association of Teaching Singing competition at Butler University in 2022. She has sung professionally with the Franklin College Richardson Chapel. Devyn has taught extensively to all experience levels through her own studio

Devyn is also a passionate and dynamic pianist. She served as the pianist for Franklin First Baptist Church as well as the Franklin College Jazz Collective.

Devyn believes that in order for music to be a continually fulfilling part of one's life, there must be more than just music to contribute to it. So, while she spends much of her time perfecting technique and craft, Devyn is also an advocate for staying physically active, being an avid lifter and a Franklin College Women's Lacrosse Alum. She loves coffee, and spends her time both learning about it and drinking it!
