Studio class is a small workshop designed to rehearse performance and audition techniques.

This is an intimate performance workshop, hosted by Amy, and students will use backing tracks to accompany themselves or can accompany themselves. This class will be in person in our Somerville lesson studio and will be a lot of fun!

Dramatic Intent
Text interpretation
Emotional Arc
Gestures/physicality
Nerves
Auditions

The idea is to put yourself out there and practice *performing*, so please don't feel intimidated!  As usual, this class is all levels, all genres. There is no pre-req to participate, but please be prepared to sing a song from memory.
